I haven’t posted in awhile, but that’s because I’ve been working on a top-secret project! But now that the Kickstarter has launched, I can say a bit about it. Not much, because, you know, spoilers, but I can at least share a bit of information.

It’s a horror comedy movie called “Portal Popperz” directed by VFX guru, artist and owner of Pop Culture Shock Collectibles, Jerry Macaluso. It’s a loveletter to 80’s horror, and it’s going to be scary, fun and funny.

There’s also great creature design and practical effects. If you go to the Kickstarter page, you can see illustrations, design work and test footage.

As of this writing there are 21 days to go in the Kickstarter. Go check it out, pledge if you can, and be sure to share it with your friends and family…not only will you be supporting horror filmmaking, but there are some really terrific pledge rewards, too, like the one below:
